Alastor (from ancient Greek mythology: a revengeful spirit of the murdered) was formed in Kutno, in 1986 by Waldemar Osiecki - guitar, Mariusz Matuszewski - guitar, Grzegorz Frydrysiak - bass, Sławomir Bryłka - drums and Robert Stankiewicz - vocals. The band has performed at all the major metal and rock festivals including: Metal Battle, Metalmania, FMR Jarocin, Rock Festival Węgorzewo, Strash'ydło in Ciechanów, Mayday Festival, Dramma, War with Three Steps Schodami, Summer Dying Loud, Rock&Rose Fest, Hunter Fest and many others.

Alastor performs together with many bands ranked among the top Polish and world bands: Nasty Savage, Exumer, Living Death, Sodom, Kat, Turbo, Wolf Spider, Dragon, Flotsam&Jetsam, Exodus, King Diamond, Death Angel, Holy Moses, Benediction...
